Shockwave SLF
The final foal of three exquisite auction lots from Sharon L’Amie and Sally Banks-L’Amie of
SLF Stud is this gorgeous filly by the wonderful Feinrich out of a mare who produced last
year’s Futurity Elite and Oldenburg Elite foal Merikanto (by Morricone).
The young stallion Feinrich is highly regarded as a progenitor of beautiful type, with several
licensed sons and a Premium graded stallion from his first crop last year. Feinrich brings the
important blood of Fürst Heinrich, sire of the famous Woodlander Farouche. His motherline
also produced the beautiful and influential stallions For Romance I and For Romance II,
providing a pedigree and provenance that is second to none.
Shockwave’s mother is a very beautiful typey mare by Showmaker with some very
interesting showjumping lines behind that bring power and athleticism. Dam sire is the
great 1.60m showjumping stallion, and son of Nimmerdor, Hamlet, and the direct
motherline has produced, amongh others, the 1.40m showjumping stallion Fatalist and Izzy
Taylor’s CCI5* horse Call Me Maggie May.
At his Futurity evaluation, Shockwave impressed the evaluators with her stunning type,
which gained her a 9 for conformation, and excellent vet marks for correctness of 8.5 and 9.
She has naturally uphill, balanced, active and expressive gaits which also gained her an
Oldenburg foal premium.
A very special opportunity to acquire a filly with excellent breeding and the looks and
conformation to match.
