Quirimus

This lovely 3yr old gelding is ready to start his training. Already broken and suitable for the young
horse classes for 2021. He has some of the best proven bloodlines for eventing with over 70% TB
blood and by the 1.60m SJ Quidam De Revel stallion, Quainton Quirifino Z.
Quirimus has a strong damline of proven racehorses on the flat and over hurdles with his dam by the
multi-talented sire, Primitive Rising.
Quirimus scored a strong Gold score with comments of ‘a lovely walk with good length of stride’ and
a solid vet mark. An overall comment of ‘a super prospect for eventing with good balance’.
Sire: Quainton Quirifino Z jumped successfully at high profile shows throughout the world with Ben
Maher. He had multiple placings at 3-5* level and he was 4 th in the Hickstead Derby. He went to stud
and has stock showjumping and eventing.

DAM’s SIRE: PRIMITIVE RISING
was a high-class stayer by Raise A Man. He produced winners on the flat and over jumps to the total
of £2,265,584. Sire of winners of over 100 NH races inc. Big Fella Thanks (4 th in the Grand National),
Moor Lane, Paperising, Surporing and Go Informal. He was a prolific sire of eventers; winning 7
British Horse Foundation Awards and siring the winter of the BYEH on 5 occasions. He was leading
sire of 6yo’s in 2008. His Advanced horses included the WEG Team Gold and individual Silver
Medallist Cool Mountain, Kings Temptress, Primitive Control, Primitive Streak & Jurassic Rising.
Primitive Rising died in 2002.
