It is a particular delight to introduce, from the breeding of Catherston Stud, another wonderful filly by the very special Totilas son Timolin. On the dam side, Timolin is by the famous Sion, and it is interesting to note that his grandmother Lara is also the grandmother of two international showjumpers in Quick Stepp 4 and Le Clumsy, which not only explains why Timolin very much enjoys his eventing and jumping, but also gives an indication of the strong performance attributes to come from his line.

On the mother’s side, we find Breitling, a stallion whose reputation for passing on performance has made him a favourite with many Grand Prix riders. Behind that comes one of Germany’s finest motherlines in the Hanoverian Jessica family, from which we know countless successful licensed stallions, among them in recent years Lord Leatherdale, Zalabaster, Fürst Furioso and the recently sadly deceased Bernay. Great Grandmother Anja produced the PSG/Inter I horse Showdown 2, successful in Germany under the saddle of Dorte Pack.

Bee Precise has now had multiple offspring by Timolin forward with the British Breeding Futurity, and all have excelled beyond imagination. The oldest, Catherston Timeless, was an Elite Futurity foal and was the dressage champion at last year’s British Breeding Equine Bridge, as well as the Sport Horse Champion at the Royal Bath & West Show and is showing outstanding promise under saddle. Next comes Catherston Ticktock who scored multiple elites and has sold to Canada where he stands as a licensed stallion. He was the Champion Sport Horse at the Royal Bath & West Show, and the 2nd & Best British Bred 3yo Free Jumping SHB Show.

Grandmother Lambada, by Laurentianer also bred two Futurity Elites by Timolin in Catherston Tango and Catherston Temptation, as well as the successful dressage horses Farhills Flaminia, who is competing at Prix St Georges and Farhills Starstruck who is competing at Advanced Medium, both with amateur riders.

All of this leaves Catherston Time After Time with rather big boots to fill, but this gorgeous filly is rising to the challenge with the aplomb we have come to expect from this line. With excellent scores throughout, she is certainly one to watch, and a great opportunity for an ambitious home.
