Laurent MPS
All the way from Scotland we are joined by Laurent MPS by the great Hochadel, bred by
Emily Cuthill of Milnfield Park Stud.
Hochadel brings the Trakehner blood of Hohenstein and the important influence of the
great Donnerhall. He is graded with the biggest German studbooks and looks back on an
outstanding record as a breeding stallion, having produced numerous Grand Prix offspring,
as well as the licensed sons Heinrich Heine, Hochmaster, Homberg, Hohenzollern, High
Crusador, and Hochstern along with the 2010 Bundeschampionate bronze medallist of the 5
year old Dressage Horses, Horatio, ridden by Dorothee Schneider. Dorothee and Horatio
placed fifth at the 2011 World Championships for the 6 year old Dressage Horses. He is now
standing at the famous Romanno Stud in Scotland and highly valued as a reliable progenitor
of type and performance.
On the mother’s side, we find an interesting Dutch pedigree in the successful Grand Prix
stallion Painted Black – who brings another good dose of great Trakehner breeding via is sire
Gribaldi – and the great Wolfgang. The direct motherline has produced excellent
performance horses across all disciplines, including the CCI4* son of Kennedy Chequers
Playboy, successful under the saddle of Dee Hankey and the 1.50m showjumper Marinko
(by Facet).
Laurent MPS convinced at his Futurity evaluation with his lovely type, strong conformation,
excellent walk and uphill, expressive canter.
