Tarantella is a daughter of the outstanding young son of Totilas, Timolin. Graded with the SHB-GB, BWBS and the AES, at only 9 years old Timolin has taken the British breeding scene by storm with countless Futurity Elites among his offspring, and from his second crop a young stallion sold to Canada. He combines his outstanding career as a breeding stallion with a busy competition life, where he is excelling at both dressage, where he is working towards Grand Prix, and eventing where is has started his first international outings and is 1 point from Advanced.

Tarantella is the half-sister of the gorgeous WBS-UK Champion licensed stallion Flashpoint whose mother was owned by Emile Faurie. She comes from the famous Hanoverian Schildamsel family, one of whose most famous progeny is probably the World Breeding Champion Wynton, although many will surely also remember Paul Schockemöhle’s wonderful showjumper Deister who comes from the same line. More recently, we have seen the lovely Quatre-Quarts a l’Orange in the international young horse competitions successful under the saddle of Kristine Möller.

Having scored a Futurity Elite in 2019 as a two-year-old, Tarantella did not disappoint this year when she returned to the Futurity to gain excellent marks and feedback with perfect vet marks of 9 and 9.25 and a dream score of 9.5 for her wonderful trot. Her score also qualifies her for the British Breeding Equine Bridge, with the chance of winning a £1000 towards competition and training costs.
